Located in St. Joseph at the mouth of the St. Joseph River, Silver Beach County Park features a clean, wide beach on Lake Michigan and public access to the South Pier. Silver Beach is also host to many special events, including activities that are a part of St. Joseph's annual Venetian Festival.

St. Joseph Today (North Pier Lighthouse)
The North Pier Lighthouse was built in 1832. The pier was extended an additional 1000 feet in 1907 and at that time the outer light was rebuilt. It is a fantastic sight and the subject of many photographers.
